The COVER's company building has told watchmaking history for 96 years. The art of watchmaking was learned at this location until only eight years ago.
The building was formerly used by one of Switzerland's first watchmaking schools. That worldwide leading training institute produced the success of generations of watchmakers.

In 2005 the building was completely renovated and remodelled for the requirements of the brand COVER. In addition, it was possible to bring the production shops up to the latest levels, meeting today's most modern industry standards. After six years in the new factory, it can now be said that since the purchase of this building, which was built in 1915, its success story has also passed on to COVER.

Whether elegant or classically sporty, COVER presents a collection in line with current trends. Tasteful design and clever composition of materials are COVER's trademarks. All of our models appeal to fashion-conscious people who attach importance to their personal style and at the same time want to wear an affordable watch. Our watches are created by us on our own bit for bit, giving those who wear them a beautiful piece of individuality.

The passion for precise work done by hand has also remained in the spirit of the premises. COVER is building upon a tremendous wealth of knowledge and feels itself closely bound to the Swiss art of watchmaking.

Thus at its headquarters in the historic town of Solothurn, still today all its models are fabricated by hand. For quality that can be felt and seen at first glance.

In these modern production rooms, a team of approximately fifty employees from design, watchmaking and marketing work together to create our fashionable collections.

In doing so, our qualified watchmakers produce the majority of the watches by hand because human skills are still very valuable in our company.

To assure the accuracy of our timepieces only high quality movements from ETA and Ronda are used.

An inspection of quality accompanies each working step. All COVER watches are subjected to an intensive visual check and inspection of functioning and waterproofness.
